Transcripts:

Chinese

Bye-bye.

English

Passenger: (The) Mandarin Oriental (Hotel), please.

Taxi driver: OK. Miss, you speak very good Cantonese.

Passenger: Is that so? Not really good. I have been living in HK for 8 years, and have been learning Cantonese. But my learning is on and off, so I still can't speak very fluent Cantonese.

Taxi driver: (I think) it's already very good. There is the Mandarin Oriental; you can get off the taxi here.

Passenger: (paying) OK, thanks. And keep the change.

Taxi driver: Thanks, bye.
